Roger LaHart

Roger LaHart

Chief Lending Officer

Roger LaHart joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2000 and has over 34 years of lending experience. Before joining FCCB, Roger, a native of New England, was a commercial lender at Edgartown National Bank in Edgartown, Massachusetts. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Union College in Schenectady, New York, and his Masters of Business Administration with emphasis in finance and accounting from Cornell University Johnson School of Management in Ithaca, New York. Roger specializes in business lending including real estate, working capital, and equipment. As chief lending officer, he manages FCCB’s lending department and personnel, credit administration, collections, and maintains a large working portfolio. He most enjoys helping build local business in the Four Corners, and is a member of the Farmington Library Foundation board.

Shawn Candelaria

Shawn Candelaria

Durango Market President

 

Shawn Candelaria joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2015 with over 20 years of lending experience. Before joining FCCB, Shawn, a native of western Colorado, was market president at First Southwest Bank in Durango, Colorado. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado and attended Norwest College of Commercial Credit. As Durango market president, Shawn manages the bank’s growth and development of commercial and consumer loan relationships in the Durango market. He primarily specializes in small business and commercial lending, however he also works with consumer personal loans, construction loans, and lines of credit. He especially enjoys building relationships with his customers and helping them reach their financial goals. Shawn is a current board member of The Hundred Club of Durango, United Way of Southwest Colorado, and Durango Wine Experience; he is a former board member of Trails 2000. Shawn enjoys spending time with his family, Porsches, and nearly anything outdoors including all types of cycling, golfing, camping, skiing, and fishing.

Steve Slagle

Steve Slagle

Cortez Market President

 

Steve Slagle joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2013 and has over 16 years of lending experience. Before joining FCCB, Steve was the market manager for another bank in Cortez, and previously worked in Arizona and Wyoming. Although Steve was born in Julesburg, Colorado, he grew up in small farming communities including Holyoke and Strasburg, Colorado. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Columbia State University, and attended Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. He also attended the Agricultural Lending School sponsored by the Kansas/Nebraska Bankers Association. Steve specializes in agriculture and small business lending, working with local producers and companies in the Four Corners area. He is very familiar with the area’s dryland and irrigated crops, local cattle operations, and summer and winter grazing lease patterns. In his current role, Steve enjoys turning local deposits into working capital for small businesses and agriculture operations that continue to fuel the local economy. He carries a large agriculture portfolio. Steve is currently the president of the Kiwanis Club of Mesa Verde and treasurer of the Cortez Chamber of Commerce. He is married and has two high school-aged children. In his spare time, Steve enjoys camping, golfing, and big-game hunting.

Larry McGee

Larry McGee

Commercial/Ag Loan Officer

 

Larry McGee rejoined Four Corners Community Bank in 2016 with over 38 years of lending experience. He was previously vice president and loan officer with American AgCredit. McGee, a longtime Cortez resident, is originally from Farmington, New Mexico. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in agriculture economics and finance from Kansas State University, and is an accredited member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. Specializing in livestock, crop producers, and commercial business projects, McGee particularly enjoys helping farmers, ranchers, and commercial business owners create and expand their business. He is part of the McGee/Bloomfield family that has been involved in livestock, crop production, and other trading interests since moving to the Four Corners in 1880.

Clete Berens joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2011 and has over 25 years of lending experience. Before joining FCCB, Clete was a commercial lender at Wells Fargo in Farmington and Gillette, Wyoming. He is originally from Gregory, South Dakota and received his Bachelor of Science degree in business from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. Clete is a seasoned agriculture and commercial lender and typically works directly with business owners. He is also the bank’s security officer and facilities manager. Clete is a board member on the Farmington Chamber of Commerce and attended the Independent Community Bankers Association of New Mexico’s 2015 Ag Lenders Conference.

Joshua Bollacker

Joshua Bollacker joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2014. He has over 12 years of banking experience and eight years of lending experience. Before joining FCCB, Joshua was assistant vice president and commercial loan officer at Rocky Mountain Bank & Trust in Colorado Springs and Florence, Colorado. Originally from La Junta, Colorado, he received his Bachelor of Science in business and finance and his Masters of Business Administration from Colorado State University, Pueblo. Joshua specializes in small business, construction, commercial, and investment real estate lending. He enjoys helping small businesses grow and prosper.

Monica Dibsie

Monica Dibsie

Consumer Loan Officer

 

 

Monica Dibsie became part of the Four Corners Community Bank family when Citizen State Bank of Cortez was acquired in 2013. She brings over 33 years of experience to the team, currently as a consumer loan officer. Monica was born in Montrose, Colorado but has called Cortez her home since she was 10. She specializes in consumer loans for vehicles, RVs, boats, ATVs, and motorcycles. She also works with clients on establishing home equity lines of credit and real estate loans. She enjoys working with her customers to meet their financial needs. Monica is active with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Together, she and her husband have five children and three granddaughters. She loves traveling by motorcycle, fishing, gardening, and spending time in San Diego, or anywhere by the ocean whenever possible.

Brian Huffhines

Brian Huffhines joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2015 with over 29 years of mortgage and consumer lending experience; he spent the last 22 years as an independent mortgage broker at Quality Financial Services Inc. along with his wife, Janice Huffhines. After growing up in Santa Fe, Brian attended California State University, Fresno and received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialty in finance; he is also a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator.

As a mortgage loan officer at FCCB, Brian specializes in promoting the bank’s secondary mortgage products including conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA home loans. He has an extensive background in residential mortgage lending, working with first-time and experienced home buyers, and offering multiple programs for home purchase and refinance needs. Brian most enjoys using his experience and industry knowledge to help clients through the home loan process, as well as explaining and matching the different loan programs with customers’ objectives and needs.

Janice Huffhines joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2015 with over 22 years of mortgage lending experience. Before joining FCCB, she and her husband, Brian Huffhines, co-owned Quality Financial Services, Inc., a local mortgage broker company, for over twenty years. Their business was built on a foundation of superior customer service and strong business relationships; Janice looks forward to providing the same level of service at Four Corners Community Bank.

Before making Farmington her home, Janice spent most of her childhood in California, moving every three years due to her father being in the military. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from California State University, Fresno. She also holds a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license and specializes in conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans. As an FCCB mortgage loan officer, Janice facilitates the bank’s secondary mortgage department which complements its current commercial, residential, and consumer loans.

Janice enjoys helping her clients through the home purchase or refinance processes, and finds first-time home-buyers especially enjoyable. As the mortgage lending industry has become more complex than ever before, she keeps her customers informed and up-to-date as the loan progresses; she strives to make the process as simple as possible and explains the available options that a borrower would qualify for. Janice and Brian have three children who are now attending college; while they were in high school, Janice served as treasurer and board member of the Booster Club from 2009 to 2015.
