Chief Lending Office
Roger LaHart joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2001 and has over 38 years of lending experience. Before joining FCCB, Roger, a native of New England, was a commercial lender at Edgartown National Bank in Edgartown, Massachusetts. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Union College in Schenectady, New York, and his Master of Business Administration with emphasis in finance and accounting from Cornell University Johnson School of Management in Ithaca, New York. Roger specializes in business lending including real estate, working capital, and equipment. As chief lending officer, he manages FCCB’s lending department and personnel, credit administration, collections, and maintains a large working portfolio. He most enjoys helping build local business in the Four Corners, and is president of the Farmington Library Foundation board.

Durango Market President
Shawn Candelaria joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2015 with over 20 years of lending experience. Before joining FCCB, Shawn, a native of western Colorado, was market president at First Southwest Bank in Durango, Colorado. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado and attended Norwest College of Commercial Credit. As Durango market president, Shawn manages the bank’s growth and development of commercial and consumer loan relationships in the Durango market. He primarily specializes in small business and commercial lending, however he also works with consumer personal loans, construction loans, and lines of credit. Monica Dibsie Dibsie became part of the Four Corners Community Bank family when Citizen State Bank of Cortez was acquired in 2013. She brings over 37 years of experience to the team, currently as a consumer loan officer. Monica was born in Montrose, Colorado but has called Cortez her home since she was 10. She specializes in consumer loans for vehicles, RVs, boats, ATVs, and motorcycles, as well as real estate loans. She enjoys working with her customers to meet their financial needs. Monica is active with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Together, she and her husband have five children and three granddaughters. She loves traveling by motorcycle, fishing, gardening, and spending time in San Diego, or anywhere by the ocean whenever possible.

Belinda Archuleta joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2018 with 37 years of banking experience. She started as a teller which led to opening new accounts, investments, wire transfers, consumer and commercial lending, and eventually branch management. Prior to joining FCCB, Belinda was assistant vice president and branch manager at Bank of the West in Albuquerque for a short time, and at Bank of the Southwest in Farmington for 13 years. She oversaw a full-service branch including operations, lending, product sales, customer service, security, and safety. Belinda is familiar with consumer and commercial loans such as unsecured, vehicle, motorcycle, boat, RV, investment property, apartments, equipment, and revolving lines of credit. Her typical customers are neighbors and friends often consisting of teachers, contractors, business owners, doctors, and dentists.
Belinda has strong roots in the region having lived in Mancos as a youngster through high school, in the Aztec/Farmington area for 36 years, and in Albuquerque for a short time in between. She attended Western States School of Banking through New Mexico State University, and works alongside FCCB’s Cortez-based lending team mostly with business owners. Brian Huffhines joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2015 with over 29 years of mortgage and consumer lending experience; he spent the last 22 years as an independent mortgage broker at Quality Financial Services Inc. along with his wife, Janice Huffhines. After growing up in Santa Fe, Brian attended California State University, Fresno and received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialty in finance; he is also a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator.
As a mortgage loan officer at FCCB, Brian specializes in promoting the bank’s secondary mortgage products including conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA home loans. He has an extensive background in residential mortgage lending, working with first-time and experienced home buyers, and offering multiple programs for home purchase and refinance needs. Brian most enjoys using his experience and industry knowledge to help clients through the home loan process, as well as explaining and matching the different loan programs with customers’ objectives and needs.

Janice Huffhines joined Four Corners Community Bank in 2015 with over 22 years of mortgage lending experience. Before joining FCCB, she and her husband, Brian Huffhines, co-owned Quality Financial Services, Inc., a local mortgage broker company, for over twenty years. Their business was built on a foundation of superior customer service and strong business relationships; Janice looks forward to providing the same level of service at Four Corners Community Bank.
Before making Farmington her home, Janice spent most of her childhood in California, moving every three years due to her father being in the military. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from California State University, Fresno. She also holds a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license and specializes in conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans. As an FCCB mortgage loan officer, Janice facilitates the bank’s secondary mortgage department which complements its current commercial, residential, and consumer loans.
Janice enjoys helping her clients through the home purchase or refinance processes, and finds first-time home-buyers especially enjoyable. With a fixed rate mortgage, your interest rate and monthly principal and interest payment will stay the same for the entire term of the loan. Fixed rate mortgages are popular because they protect homeowners from payment surprises and are very straightforward. Conventional fixed rate mortgages are available with a variety of terms, available in conforming and non-conforming loan amounts. Private mortgage insurance is usually required for loans with less than a 20% down payment, or when refinancing more than 80% of your home’s value.
USDA Rural Housing Program is available. Loan allows for 100% financing of the appraised value on homes in eligible areas. Property must qualify and borrower income cannot exceed certain limits. Please call for qualifying information.
This loan program is available from the Department of Veteran Affairs. It is designed to serve the needs of veterans and allows 100% financing of the purchase price if needed. The borrower must have a valid Certificate of Eligibility and DD Form 214 to obtain a VA mortgage.
Jumbo loans or non-conforming loans are for loan amounts above $417,000. Most of the conforming loan programs and features are the same for Jumbo/non-conforming. However, a few documentation differences apply. Call a lender for further explanation.
The adjustable rate mortgage (ARM) loan interest rate, monthly principal, and interest payments remain the same for an initial period of one to seven years, then adjust annually. This loan type is generally helpful for those borrowers who anticipate only being in a home for a short time, or expect their income to rise over time. It is important to keep in mind that the rate adjusts based on market rates, and fluctuates periodically based on financial market conditions, which may result in a higher monthly payment. However, built-in rate caps and margins provide a measure of security and limited increases over the life of the loan. Private mortgage insurance is usually required for loans with less than a 20% down payment, or when refinancing more than 80% of your home’s value.
FHA mortgage loans are insured by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. FHA offers mortgage loans with a fixed or adjustable rate option. These loans are a good option when a minimum down payment is preferred. FHA requires up-front mortgage insurance, which can be financed in the loan, and a monthly mortgage insurance premium (MIP).
