Current open position in New Mexico:

Experienced credit manager. Candidates must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.  

The credit manager oversees the credit department, its personnel, and daily workflow. Critical functions include: (1) Ensuring all originated consumer and commercial loans are compliant within bank policy along with state and federal regulations, (2) reviewing all applications, disclosures, and loan documents as they relate to HMDA, RESPA, TILA, FCRA, and ECOA, (3) reviewing moderate to complex documentation to ensure accuracy of data and conformity, ensuring a high level of data integrity.

Requirements: (1) Knowledge of lending policies and procedures, including state and federal regulations, (2) technical level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of an associate’s-level program in business administration, finance, or related field, (3) a minimum of two years’ experience in loan and/or credit field, (4) excellent managerial skills.

Loan administration specialist. Candidate provides administrative assistance to loan officers and staff, including updating loan data for entry into the financial institution’s computers and assembling documentation for loans. Obtains information related to the loan origination process including: ordering credit reports, appraisals, preliminary title reports, UCC searches, insurance information, flood certificates, Secretary of State filings, and various other items. Assists lender in the preparation of disbursement worksheets, prefunding packages, loan documentation checklists, and other communications necessary to properly document the credit and loan files. 

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory understanding of loan application and documentation requirements. Knowledge of general banking policies and procedures. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of office environment software such as: electronic file management; Microsoft Word and Excel, etc.
